My Photography’s First Public Showings …
I’ve been spending a lot of time the past month or so getting ready to show some of my photography in local galleries.
I had 2 framed images showing for a month in the Union County Public Library, where I received a number of nice comments about my work. The show that began today is in downtown Lewisburg, where I was given enough space for 15 large format images. I worked hard and spent some money on mounting and assembling the frameless photographs, and easels to display them on. I’m very pleased with the way the frameless look turned out, and the way my display looks in the show! I’m looking forward to see it in the at night, with the spotlights on them. I named the show, “A Walk Into Penn’s Woods.” Click on the picture and check it out, and then please let me know what you think:
I’m in the middle of processing the images I captured on my trip to Acadia National Park last month. It seemed like everywhere I turned there was a nice subject to capture, and I snapped the shutter an awful lot. Now I suffer the consequences of getting lots of nice frames, and have to process them, which isn’t any easier than usual. I’ll share more of my trip in a later post.
